A poor boy is born under a prophecy that he will be a child of great fortune—and one day even
marry the king’s daughter. Determined to prevent this destiny, the king sets out to destroy the boy’s
chances. Yet, with courage, kindness, and an open heart, the boy faces every challenge life places
before him. His journey even leads him to the devil himself, from whom he returns triumphantly
with two donkeys laden with sacks of gold…
